My Sister's Place
My Sister's Place is a Transitional Living Program housed at The Kathy Reynolds House offering services to women who are former victims of domestic violence and do not have minor children in their care.
My Sister's Place is a communal living environment where each woman has her own bedroom but shares the other living areas such as the kitchen and living room with the other residents.
The program honors the memory of Ms. Kathy Reynolds (Patch), who was a long-time supporter of Family Services and an advocate for improving the lives of victims of domestic violence.
This program has been developed for the purpose of assisting women who otherwise would find it very difficult to qualify for services in the community because they do not have minor children in their care, yet do not have the resources to live independently in safe housing.
